search key not found in any record

I am trying to import a spreadsheet from Excel 2007 into Access 2007 and I
receive the search key not found in any record message. I have copied the
spreadsheet to a new workbook and even dropped some columns I don't need but
I still get the message and thus can't import the spreadsheet.

Tom,

Now down to the other reasons this would happen... Could be there is some
corruption in the Excel spreadsheet, could be the way Access is translating
your columns in Excel, could be there are
calculated fields in Excel that Access can't translate for what ever reason.
So going to need a little more information...

1. Any calculations in the spreadsheet?
2. What are the fields names?
3. Have you looked at the spreadsheet to confirm there are no errors on the
sheet?
4. Just on a whim here, do you column headings use any reserved words that
might confuse Access?

I just just tested this using an Excel worksheet and text and both work fine
so I am thinking the problem ight be the spreadsheet.
