Import Wizard Error Message "The search key was not found in any r

I am receiving the error message " the search key was not found in any
record" from the Import Wizard when trying to import an Excel spreadsheet. I
am using version Access version 2007. If any one has any suggestions as to
what is going wrong I would appreciate it.

Oddly, I just got this error today when importing an Excel file that I had
saved as .txt. I just resaved the Excel file as .csv and got it to work.
You might try that. (Also, I was importing into a new table.)

I also received this error when trying to import an Excel spreadsheet. I
found that by removing the spaces at the beginning of the Field Names in my
spreadsheet I was able to import the spreadsheet with no problem.
