Error importing from Excel message "The search key was not found"

In the process of trying to import a Excel spreadsheet, over 5,000 records, I
received the error message "The search key was not found". Mind you, I am
trying to import records, I am not looking for a record. Please help

Sounds like the spreadsheet might be a little corrupt. Instead of importing,
link to the spreadsheet. Then you can use an append or create table query to
insert the records into Access.
