Using Outlook Express will make it MUCH more convenient to read and post to
newsgroups.

way better.

options, security
use ie restricted zone is probably better and certainly has never caused me
trouble.
be sure to set to not download "attachments that" (etc)

and other options tabs: set to read and send as plain text.
