screensaver is off centre...

Everytime I load a screensaver, it's now off centre on the screen, sometimes
way off the right. Happens with any screensaver I load, from SETI@home, to
the "warp speed" one. Yet in the screensaver preview in Display Options, it
is correctly centred. I've recently updated my video card and thought this
may be to do with it, but I can't find any options in its control panel that
directly affects the screensaver. My new card is an ATI Radeon PCI 9200se
128mb DDR.

Any ideas?

Interesting.

I get this problem too, but only sometimes. My theory is that my video
card suddenly thinks there are two monitors, and therefore centers it to
the middle of the overall screen (so it's centred correctly if you
actually do have 2 monitors).
My vid card is a Hercules 3d prophet 9200 AGP 4x (ATI Radeon-based), 1.5
years older than yours.

And here I was thinking I was going mad!

In my case it mostly happens when I log off, and let the (classic) login
box go into screensaver mode.

My specs:

Gateway Performance 1300.
P4 1.3GHz.
Intel 850 based chipset.
640Mb Ram

Using ATI's 4.11 catalysts.

Above medium speed.

I speculate that it's a vid card issue. Sorry I can't give you more
information.
