I work with many users who want to be able to activate
their password protected screensaver with an icon.

Right now the icon activates the Screensaver but it
doesn't prompt for a password when the mouse is moved or a
key is pressed.

How can I make it demand a password?

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks for the help. I am getting the impression that
activating a screensaver from an icon with password
protection is not doable. The problem is that my user was
on a Gateway E-4200 with Win 2K and had an icon that did
just that. I moved her stuff to a laptop with docking
station and copied the icon over and the password part is
gone!!!

You can see why I am reluctant to tell her that it can't
be done when it had been working on her older computer

Of course it is doable. Just download SSLAUNCH. If you
put the icon in the QuickLaunch bar, you can launch any
password-protected screensaver with a single click. :-)
