Password Protecting Screensaver

I have set up my screensaver so that it is password protected.

However, once the screensaver is activated due to inactivity on the
computer, when i move the mouse to turn the screensaver off, it doesn't ask
me for the password.

what else do I need to do?

If you press a button or move the mouse within the timeout(30 sec), you
won't need to type in pass

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Screen Saver and check the box On resume...............

No, he wants it to ask him for a password.
