screen resolution

Hi to All, i have done something to my screen resoulution, everytime i turn
my pc on everything is massive and dosn't fit on my pc screen, i have to go
into appearence and themes and change my settings, i choose the setting i
want and then apply then ok it, but bet your bottom dollar next time i turn
pc on i will have to change it all over again, can someone please help me.

Try this:

Right click the Desktop and select Settings>Advanced>General and make sure
the 'Display' drop down menu is set to 'Normal size (96 DPI)'

Thanks for your response i went in and checked the settings and yes the DPI
is set on normal size 96, any other suggestions please, my screen actually
goes black when i open up knew programs, then everything goes massive again.

I think I know what's wrong because that's happened to me.
[Note that if the fonts etc. are to big that they fill up the screen without
you being able to click what you want, then highlight the top, and then just
scroll right down. That way, you see all that you want to. :)]
Go to Control Panel.
Click Appearence and Themes.
Click Change Screen Resolution.
A window will pop up with the monitors. You can change the sizes until you
see fit. You can also go to Advanced,
Click on the tab that says Adapter, then click the List All Modes. There
will be different resolutions sizes and you can apply them to see how they
look.

Thanks for your response Jessica, i will give it a try and see how i go, this
problem only occurs on my screen it dosnt happen in the other users accounts,
i think that is wierd.
