SCRAP FROM NOTEPAD.

i PUT A SCRAP FROM NOTE PAD ONTO THE DESKTOP BUT CANNOT
REMOVE IT BY DELETING OR DRAGGING INTO THE RECYCLE BIN. AN
ERROR BOX ARRIVES ON SCREEN WHICH SAYS CANNOT DELETE FILE.
CANNOT READ FROM SOURCE FILE OR DISC. HOW DO I GET RID OF
IT? THANKS!

Right click on it, go to properties, remove the read only attribute, then
delete.

attribute was not ticked but still could not delete the
scrap on my desktop. I now think I tried to put a scrap
from works word on to the desktop and I don't think xp
supports this move,so I am still stuck with it.

Duct tape.. everything can be fixed with Duct tape..
