OK i did ask a few months ago on this, but now it seems the current scanner is on it's way out as we speak. After a printer/scanner combi for around £100, should be cheap for ink & be able to be used as a standalone photocopier, without pc on. And one with a card reader would be great

Any views, comments on what to buy or not.

Theres an Epson one - DX4800 or something like that?

Its fantastic... cartridges are about £1.99 each, borderless photo printing, card reader, flatbed scanner, photocopying... top piece of kit

Off topic: I just bought myself a Samsung ML2010 Mono laser cheap from eBuyer - its the fastest printer i have ever ever seen or used.

Someone i buit a PC for went out and bought one... £80 i think in currys or comet (something like that)

Printed a photo on some Kodak paper the quality was amazing!!
