Scanner not found

Control Panel/System/Hardware reports both scanner and camera are
working, but the folder Control Panel/Scanner and Cameras has no
entries, and the "Add an imaging device" wizard refuses to start.
Scanning app reports scanner not found.

I reinstalled the scanner drivers but there was no change.

What might be the cause of the problem?
 
Remove all the scanner entries and then reinstall it.Have you downloaded
the latest driver?
