Scanner and Camera Wizard

I have a gateway digital camera that is plug and play
ready. When I attach it to my laptop, the scanner and
camera wizard that used ti appear, no longer appears. I
wondering if I somehow disabled that feature. If so, how
do I enable the wizard?
