downloading using cameras and scanners

I used to use the cameras and scanners wizard to download pics from my usb
card reader. The PC was rebuilt and now the wizard says no camera is found
when I plug in usb the card reader. The driver for the camera is installed
and it works correctly when I plug in the camera itself. How do I get my usb
card reader to look like the camera again?

If I read the post properly, it seems like the camera wizard is
working properly, when the camera is plugged in. As for an USB
card reader, it should not have anything to do with the Wizard
(unless there is some photographic function involved, such as
sending images to a processing facility, such as Kodak). But the
USB card reader should be able to read the picture files on the
camera's memory card, after it has been removed from the camera.
A third-party viewing program, not necessarily the one that was
embedded into the Wizard, may be needed.

The camera manuals are complicated but if the above is not the
answer, then start poring through the manual for this camea.
