Scandisk runs at startup

I've got a PC with Win2k on it and recently it started
running Scandisk each time I start it up even though I've
shut it down correctly.

Any ideas on how to make this stop?

Hi Terry,

Try running a CMD prompt and run Chkdsk /R. Restart and let chkdsk finish
running.
