saving to a dvd drive

i am trying to save some documents and pictures to a toshiba laptop, and i
want to save it to my d drive...DVD/CD drive and it says i do not have access
to this folder..please contact your system administrator....how do i do that?
HELP!

If your Toshiba is using a DVD-RAM disk, AND you are running the Toshiba
DVD-RAM software you should be able to do what you want.

Otherwise you'll have to use third party DVD burning software such as Roxio
or Nero. The only third party DVD software included on my Toshiba was a
lite (very IMHO) version of Sonic which enabled backup writes only.
