Russ,
I really appreciate your helpfulness.
I also have office 2000 on my computer. I have but don't use Outlook 2000.
I have no desire to use it for email, but would use it for faxing if it
would solve my folder storage problem.
Would it?
If so, how do I go about using outlook to send and receive faxes (remember,
I have XP Home and am presently using XP Fax).
If I start using Outlook will I still be able to access faxes previously
sent and received with XP Fax?
Thanks

I found the folders and stored faxes. Is there a way to add new folders
that will be seen in the fax console. That way I can drag messages I want
to
save to appropriate folders.(doing this from explorer isn't very practicle
since none of the fax id info is in explorer.
Thanks
Hp recently "recovered my Hard drive, reinstalling XP Home. XP Fax exists
and
successfully receives faxes. But I can't find the folder mentioned below
by
Russ. In fact there is no application data folder under all users or
anywhere else on the drive.
Any thoughts?
Faxes you have received are automatically archived in the Fax
Console's
Inbox and faxes you have sent are archived in the Fax Console's Sent
Items
Folder. You can easily access and save these folders from Windows
Explorer.
The default location of these folders is:
<drive>:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows
NT\MSFax\
Simply copy their contents into the same folder in a new installation.
