Saving on Word

I recently starting writing a document in Word and tried to save the document when the computer would not respond. It has not responded for about 10 hours now and I would hate to lose the document. Basically, it won't save anything or do anything; it's frozen. What should I do?

Reboot and retype. Save frequently from now on.....

When you reboot, and then restart Word, it is *possible* that Word will
come back with a "recovery" version of the document. If so, save it
before doing anything else.
