Saving Images from the Internet

N

Nick

Every time I try to save a .jpg image from the Internet
by right-clicking the image and selecting "Save Picture
As..." from the pop-up menu, the "Save as type:" box
always defaults to only "Bitmap (*.bmp)" without any
other options. I can't seem to overcome this and I don't
want to have to first save all of my images as bitmaps
and then cobvert them to .jpg.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just wanted to thank you for your guidence here as well for I too needed help with this one. I certainly appreciate the direction you gave here. It helped me overcome the same issues at hand. Was able to fix both browsers (IE/AOL)

The same thing as been happening to me. I use Internet Explorer and whenever I try to save an image it saves as Bitmap instead of JPG or JPEG. There's no other options besides BMP. I'd like an answer to this as well. Thanks.

Nevermind. I followed you're instructions and the images are now saving as JPG/JPEG. Thanks for the help.
