Saving Pic from the Internet

Over the last couple of days I have been trying to save some .jpg pictures
from the internet. I right click and go to "save as". The only file type
option I get when I do this is .bmp, I click on the down arrow and bitmap is
the only one there. I know the files are to big to be JPG. I have asked a
lot of people around where I am at and they seem to be just as puzzled as I
am. Can anybody help?
