unable to save file as a JPG

I have always been able to save pictures off the internet as jpgs as long as the source was a jpg. Now for some odd reason it only gives me the option to save it as a bitmap(bmp). I can over the extension and type pict.jpg and it will save and be readable as a jpg but when i click a new pict by default wants to save as a bmp. Any ideas?

Delete all your temp files and then you can save them as Jpegs
