Hello,

I read in a magazine a while ago you can save the windows that are left open
in Windows XP. I set this up on one machine but cannot find the
instructions to do the same for the other machine. Can anyone please tell
me how you do this (e.g. I like having the folder for my MP3s open when I
log into Windows)?

Hope someone can help?

Kol

Hi Kolin,

Control Panel/Folder Options/View tab, enable the line 'restore previous
folder windows at logon'.

Hi Rick,

Great thanks, thought it was simple.

Are you able to help with my other queries, e.g. "XP starts to shut down
when I log in by itself"

Many thanks,

Kol
