"Save As" dialog box

G'day people,

Using XPSP2 with all subsequent updates.

Is there a way to make the "Save As" dialog box stay the same size and also
always show the "details" view when used. It always appears to revert to
some default size/view each time I power up my PC.

(eg. in IE6 when downloading stuff you chose "Save As", or "Save Target As";
the window that appears is the one I am referring to).

I am comfortable with registry tweaks, so if there is a solution that way,
I'd be happy to know how ;)

Many thanks in advance,

Alex.
