Sapphire 9600 pro

I am thinking of getting Sapphire 9600 Pro Ultimate (no fan)
for my computer (2.6GHz P4).

No noise is important to me. That is why I am thinking of getting
a card with no fan.

I know that 9600 pro is not as good as 9800 pro. But, 9800 pro
is over my budget now.
Will I be able to play half-life 2?
What exactly will be the shortcoming of 9600 pro?
Do you advise against Sapphire (no fan) versus the original ATI
with fan?

No worries. It's a fine card with plenty of performance for HL2. There are
benchmarks on the web if you search. Here's one:

As you say, it's not as fast as the 9800, but it's better than most
everything else. Sapphire has been making the fanless cards for a while now,
and they seem to work well.
