9600 pro; Disable TV out

I have a Sapphire ultimate 9600 pro.
I am using the 3.10 driver from ATI on XP pro.
There are two display adapters under device manager.

I only need the monitor output.
Should I disable the TV output?
How can I?

Why would you want to ?

I have the 9800 Pro and can't see that the "Extra" entry uses any extra
resources.

This behaviour is by design.

I was just wondering if it was using any extra resources (RAM).
I also wonder if the additional circuitry for the TV out consumes
power and results in extra (unnecessary) heat.
