Samsung CLP510N seriously jammed - need help

My Samsung CLP510N got jammed. The small piece of paper that I could
reach from the rear drawer broke at the first pull attempt and part of it
still jams the upper part of the printer. I opened the upper cover only
to realize that not a single milllimeter of paper comes out therefore I
can't even try to pull it out. Looks like the paper is jammed around the
fuser!
This printer is relatively old and cheap so bringing it to a repair shop
is not an option, any suggestions on how do I solve this problem?

Also, since this printer has some other quirks I may want to get a new
one soon. What brand/model would you recommend that meets the following
requirements:
cheap, color, networked, single tray, can be slow (home use), smaller
than the previous one (very easy as the CLP510N is HUGE), must work under
Linux (open source drivers would be perfect).

Thanks! And Happy Holidays to all!

I tried looking for a schematic for your printer but kept getting hijacked
to other websites and decided maybe it just wasn't worth my pain. However,
you could try it and maybe you'd get lucky. The whole point of the schematic
of course is to figure out how best to remove the cover to retrieve the torn
paper. In the event you give up, break it, or figure out how to get the
paper out and it still doesn't work and you need to find a new printer I
would suggest you try Newegg. Read the user reviews and find something in
your price range that fills the bill. Although not every review may prove
competent most of the folks responding have a fair amount of knowledge and
experience to give you a fairly reliable picture of what you should expect
from the perspective machine.

Thanks for your help anyway. I solved the problem this morning by
removing the part where the paper sheet was jammed. It required removing
5 screws, all identical and easily accessible from the upper printer
cover.

There were 3 or 4 half sheets jammed around one of those rubber rollers
so the rollers were stuck and nearly impossible to rotate by hand. the
only way to remove the paper was to cut it with an xacto knife trying not
to damage the rubber rollers.
Unfortunately I pushed too hard and cut a thin line along one of the
rollers, but after reassembling the part it looks like the damage doesn't
affect prints.
