Same Update Over & Over

Ever since I downloaded and installed "Security Update
for Microsoft Windows (819696)" I have been prompted on a
daily basis to download and install the same update! Can
anyone suggest 1) what is happening; and 2) How can I
resolve the issue?

you can try this, guess it still works.

Goto c:\windows\system32 delete Catroot2 folder. up-date
and it will be Recreated when you update. A option is to
re-name it , but it will be in your
Recycle Bin anyway if you need it.

No luck. 1)it didn't recreate the Catroot2 folder, and 2)
even after updating the same update again, it still
showed up as a needed critical update when I scanned for
updates. SOmehow my computer isn't processing the update
correctly.
