Runtime Error

When I open Outlook I frequently get a box that says:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program:C:\Progra^1\Micros^3\Office10\Outlook.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

When I click Ok the program exits and then it will open alright.
Thanks

I have the same problem, since I installed SP2, and updated to Norton
Internet Security 2004. The article you cite does not help (Norton anti-spam
cannot be dissabled, as it loads automatically when Outlook is opened. I
checked with Symantec). Nor does Detect and Repair.

What else could stop this giant inconvenience?

Thank you,

Perry

Yes, I have been looking for a solution for quite some time. The problem
occurs on my new home computer, which has a 6-month Norton subscription. I am
using Outlook Express because that's all I need at home. It is not affected
by this.
