Runtime error screen when first opening outlook 2000

When I open Outlook for the first time after logging on I get an error
message as follows Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library,
Program:C:\Progra-1\Micros-3\office10\OUTLOOK.EXE abnormal program
termination. When I hit OK it closes outlook. Clicking on the Outlook icon a
second time opens outlook
