Runtime error of application terminating in an unusual way.

I receive a MS Visual C++ Runtime Library dialogue box with the message
Runtime Error: Program: c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
10\WINWORD.EXE when I close MS Outlook. The application has requested the
Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I have not seen this before. Not
sure what to do with this. I have MS Outlook 2002.
