rules limit with exchange 2003

trying to add rules to my outlook 2003 client in an exchange 2003 sp2
environment , I get an error
"one or more rules could not be uploaded to exchange server and have been
deactivated..."
Is there any way to make this work? I currently have about 15 rules.

Couple of thoughts...

1) There is a storage size limit to inbox rules. This limit is 32KB and it
can't be changed.

2) The rule that is being deactivated is too complex. Try to review
condition/actions and see if you can streamline the rule(s).
