Outlook 2003 - rules

P

pmarinova

Hi,
I just switch to outlook 2003 and I re-create all rules (not imported
from previous version) and after ~ 15th rule was created I get the
following message.
"One or more rules could not be uploaded to exchange server and have
been deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not
supported or there is insufficient space to store all of yours rules".
As well, how can I change the rules from "client" to "server", because
they are not running automatically now?
Thanks

Exchange has a limit of 32 kb worth of rules. To change them to client side,
you need to add a condition that makes them client rules... but if you are
doing it to avoid the limitation, it no longer works in Outlook 2002 and
2003.
