Rule not working correctly

I set up rules to automatically file a copy of emails sent to specific people
in offline folders. All rules work except for one which puts incoming
messages from that person in a folder without first appearing in the inbox.
The rule should only apply to outgoing messages. I deleted the rule and
incoming messages from that person still go into her folder. I even changed
the name on the folder and it still puts incoming messages in the folder even
with a new name.

How do I get those messages to arrive to my inbox without automatically
going to a specific offline folder?

Sounds like you've got another rule coming into effect. Messages don't
normally move around without a rule to do the work
