Rule does not run automatically

Dear Friends,

I have created a rule which should move an incoming message in the Microsoft
Exchange server to a folder on my .pst file. The problem is that when the
message arrives in the exchange server inbox, it does not go automatically to
the folder on the .pst. But when I go to Tools -> Rules and Alerts -> Run
Rools now -> and select the rule and click "Run Now", the messages move to
the desired folder.

My question is why doesnt this happen automatically?

Dear Friends,

I searched a little more on the net and I got a suggestion to convert my
client side rule to a server side rule meaning that the mail should be moved
to a location/folder on the mailbox server rather than a personal folder. I
tried that too, but still the rules do not run automatically.

Any suggestions?
