Newsgroups are archived on the web. I used to use my real email
address and can still find it in old messages when I search.

I'm very well aware of that. But I was talking about the interface at:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

If you check the OP's headers, her real e-mail address is *not* being
used. What you instead see is a microsoft.com domain e-mail address.

I have a hard time believing that. As I heard it isn't anything like OE.
