RRAS Won't Work On Dual Nic Server

I have an hp/compaq server with two teaming nics. The
nics are not configured for teaming and one is even
disabled. When I configure RRAS to allow vpn, I lose all
connectivity with internal clients and no external clients
can connect with vpn. I have a dhcp server provided
through a router. All works great until I enable RRAS.

I've tried everything, searched support.ms.com, technet
and have even set test systems to static addresses. Once
RRAS is enabled and configured all network connectivity is
lost. There is no virus (eTrust scanned and updated) and
no spyware. The only thing on this box is Win2k server,
no firewall, (it's in the router) and no other server
software. I'm ready to pull out the last 3 hairs on my
head but I need a comb-over so I gotta figure this out.

Network configuration consists of a netopia dsl modem in
bridge mode connected to a linksys 4 port router with
proper ports opened up for remote desktop and vpn. The
router connects to a 16 port switch and all clients and
server are connected to this switch. If RRAS is disabled,
all clients connect. Can anyone help to shed some light
on this or point me to troubleshooting steps that include
free bottles of antacid and rogain? :)

Thanks!
Eric

What do you mean that all clients lose connectivity - just to that server or
ALL network activity including to each other, etc.? How did you configure
rras/vpn. Was rras configured before, or was this something new? One thing
you may want to check is to go into rras and look under IP routing/general,
find your adapter and look in properties/general input and output filters to
see if anyhting there is causing access to be blocked. --- Steve

Clarification: Connectivity to the server is lost. Other
systems can still connect.

Thanks for your help!
