Remote Conections

I have a Terminal Server & a RRAS on my Win2k Server network for remote
communications. I have Terminal Services ports upon on my Sonicwall Router. I
can VPN into my RRAS server than remote desktop to any of my three Servers or
remote desktop directly to my Terminal Server use Remote Desktop. All remote
clients are Win2k SP4. However, when I try this using a DSL connection
(PPPoE), the VPN fails with a error 619 and the Remote Desktop fails with a
Client could not connect.... All other clients that use connections other
than PPPoE etc. Cable connect fine.

Any ideas anyone?

If the only difference is cable versus dsl I would be suspect of the MTU used for
dsl. This can be configured at the client end in the pppoe connectoid or in a router
if used for the connection. See the link below that discusses changing MTU for XP.
The same numbers can be applied to any dsl connection. --- Steve
