Router's web interface

Please can someone help me? Can you tell me how i can log into my router's
web interface as i am trying to get some information for setting up a static
ip address. Also when I look to see my Name server or DNS, I am only given 1
number and I was under the impression that there should be 2.
Also as another question can you tell me why, when I open up my office
windows from a folder that I have already created , I keep getting a box
that says "The command cannot be performed because a dialogue box is open.
Click OK and then close open dialogue boxes to continue" This happens every
time and im not to sure what im supposed to be closing when as far as I know,
nothing is open.
Appologies for this being so long.

Just type this in the browser:

http://192.168.1.1

Enter your ADMIN username/password and see what you get.

The address I have given is the default one but if you have changed it
then you will need to reset your router unless you know what you have
originally set it to!!

With my router typing in the ip address of the router in IE gets me to it's
web interface http://192.168.2.1/ . Your router should have come with some
type of documentation.

Your second question is really confusing and makes little or no sense. Also
it's best to create a seperate post for a seperate question.

You will get better answers to your second question by posting to the
appropriate newsgroup.

And still other routers use http://192.168.0.1 as the address. Try all 3 to
see if you can get in - or at least get the prompt to login. Once that's
done (or with the make and model of your router) we can provide a bit more
detail.
