Rogue Email Account

When I transferred my files and settings over my main email accounts were ok,
then my main one started playing up. Vista told me to delete and redo the
account (it was IMAP so I wasn't going to lose anything.) However, when I
went to the accounts dialogue the account in question wasn't there?

Now I'm in the position that I've an email account that's not functioning
properly but that I can't even start to repair!!!

Any thoughts someone???

Vista may have deleted it without telling you. Try adding it again.

It's only showing up in the folder list...have tried deleting the .pst file
and registry entry so I can redo the account, but everytime I open outlook
again it's put the .pst file back and updated the registry!!

It won't let me add/overwrite..even though there's no account in the account
list, the folder is still in the folder list.

You'll probably need to ask in an Outlook newsgroup then.

I use Windows Mail instead.
