Not unless the pre File Transfer files were backed up to an image or backup file.
System Restore is what it is..and not perfect....a short term resource dependent upon design intent and/or available space for system file restoration.

Knowing this, it might be a good time to investigate image software that allows restoration of the entire drive and/or files, folders. Both Acronis(True Image 10) and Symantec(Ghost 12) offer this capability.

All of a sudden the Vista Calendar has become "read only" and will not let
me edit it at all.

I have been to properties and the read only box is unchecked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Vista Basic -usually- means 512MB RAM. Is that what you have, RAM wise? If
so... upgrade to 1GB RAM. 512MB RAM is insuffient. Yeah, sux that that's how
systems are being sold... and... not saying upgrading to 1GB RAM will fix
your problems, but 512MB RAM is really, and I do mean really, not
sufficient. Speakng from personal experience on that front...

Good luck,

Lang
