Resending e-mail message retains original date

I frequently resend boilerplate e-mails because only the subject line
changes...the body, cc's and bcc's do not change. More often than not, the
re-sent e-mail retains the date of the original e-mail. Any ideas how I can
ensure the date changes to the current date?

I suggest the use of quickparts instead. If you have 2007, you have
quickparts. They are designed for this type of use.

You forgot to post the basic data here: version of Outlook.

Thanks for the response. I am using Office 2007. Never heard of quickparts
so I'll investigate that.
