Reregister Windows Installer

Isn't there a way to use regserver to un register and re-register the
Windows Installer?

I found the workaround once before, but now after many MS searches, I can't
find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

To remove the current windows installer off my registry
sytem, and re-register
