Requiring users to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to use computer

The help menu tells me to go into user accounts from the Control Pannel &
then select click the Advanced tab. Once in the Advanced tab, instructions
indicate to select the check box "Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete".
The problem, I do not show any tabs when I go into User Accounts via the
Advanced tab. Is there another way to set up the Ctrl+Alt+Delete requirement?

THanks, Brent

How you accomplish this depends on what version of XP is
installed on your computer. For all versions, you have to
disable the Welcome Screen so let's get that out of the way
first.

Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts and click on "Change the
way users log on or off".
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Use the Welcome
Screen".
Hit the Apply Options button.
Close User Accounts.

If you're running XP Home Edition, do the following.
Go to Start -> Run and enter the following in the Open box,

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
Note: This is the User Accounts applet Help is talking about.
On the Users page, make sure to check "Users must enter a user
name and password to use this computer".
Next, click on the Advanced tab.
In the Secure logon box, put a check mark in the box next to
"Require users to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete".
Click OK.
Restart the computer and see if you get the desired results.

If you're running XP Professional or Media Edition, do the
following,

Go to Start -> Run and enter gpedit.msc in the Open box.
Click OK.
In the Group Policy Editor navigate to Computer
Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local
Policies -> Security Options.
In the right hand pane, right click on "Interactive logon: Do
not require Ctrl + Alt + Del".
Select Disable.
Click OK.
Close the Group Policy Editor.
Next, go to Start -> Run and enter the following in the Open
box,

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
On the Users page, make sure to check "Users must enter a user
name and password to use this computer".
Next, click on the Advanced tab.
Click OK.
Restart your computer to see if you get the desired results.

Good luck
