I have been trying to get the ALT+CTRL+DELETE security thing, and have looked
it up on the Microsoft website and in the Windows help, but when it says to
go to the 'Advanced' tab, I canot find it any where under user accounts. Any
ideas as to where I can fix this?

Start - "run..." - type "control userpasswords2"
there you have the tab "Advanced".

Hi Josh,

I would start by asking a simple question: Are you running Windows XP Home
Edition or Professional Edition? The Ctrl-Alt-Del option is not an option
for users of XP Home (or Media Center Edition).

If you are using XP Pro you can use Local Security Policy - secpol.msc and
go to local policies/security options and set interactive logon: do not
require control+alt+del to disabled.

If you're running Windows XP Home Edition and you
want to require users to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete in order to
log on to the computer, try the following:

First, you need to disable the Welcome Screen.
Go to Control Panel and double click User Accounts.
Click on "Change the way users log on or off".
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Use the Welcome
Screen".
Hit the Apply Options button.
Close User Accounts.

Next, go to Start -> Run and enter the following in the Open
box

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
On the Users page, make sure there's a check mark in the box
next to "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".
Next, click on the Advanced tab.
Put a check mark in the box next to "Require users to press
Ctrl + Alt + Delete".
Click OK.

Good luck
