disable control alt delete logon

Hello,

The Knowledge Base Article and the help file both say the
following, "To Enable or Disable the CTRL+ALT+DELETE
Sequence
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User
Accounts.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Secure logon section, select or clear the Require
users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete check box."

First of all, I assumed the instructions meant for me to
double click and open User Accounts. That is what I did
(clicking on it only highlighted it). When it opened
there were no tabs at asll to choose or use. I tried
right clicking on User Accounts and got no option to
click on properties and, hopefully find the advanced tab
there. I cannot find any way to access the advanced tab.
Can anybody help?

TIA,
Richard Silver

Thank you. I tried what you suggested and got to the
screen with the advanced tab. However, the option to
deselect the control alt delete sequence was grayed out.
I still tried to click it but it wouldn't uncheck. There
was an option, "Users must enter a user name and password
to use the computer". I deselected that and my compuer
logs on without the control alt delete screen.

Can you or anybody else possibly explain why the control
alt delete sequence was grayed out?

TIA,
Richard Silver
