I went into options and updated the latest S/MIME and now when I try to reply
or send an email a note comes up and states that Internet explore has stopped
working and the email does not go through. Is there anything that I can do to
correct this issue?

I am also using Vista if that helps any.

It might not be your vista... there is a known compatability issue with vista
and IE7 and exchange 2000 owa
either use a mozilla based browser (like firefox) or get your e-mail admin to
apply the patch to the server

There is an update for the _server_.
You receive an error message when you try to perform any editing tasks, or
you must click to enable the compose frame in Outlook Web Access
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829

I had the same issue.

I was told that it is not the problem with Vista but actually Internet
Explorer version 7... if you remove 7 and get the older 6 version that should
work.

alernatively you can download a diferent internet provider such as Netscape
(which is what I did)

Good luck!
