Reply to email message will not send -- why?

Having received an email message on my laptop, and clicking on "reply" and
typing a reply message, then clicking on "send," the reply message just
hangs. Outlook icon in bottom taskbar says "Outlook is synchronizing
folders." The reply message simply will not go!

Yes, I have verified connection settings (they are identical to desktop PC
which works fine.

Clues? When first bring up Outlook, get a window that says "Mcrosoft LDAP
Directory -- Server name NULL, etc. When I click on OK, it disappears and
Outlook comes up. I have no idea what that is about, and it does not come up
on my desktop.

When I click on address book, I get a window that says "!Can't contact
LDAP server (81)" When I click on OK, it disappears, and the address book
comes up.

Help!

I am having the same problem: this is my error message
Microsoft LAPD Directory
Server Name: NULL
Port: 3268
User Name: NULL
When I try to send email I get the following message:
LDAP Directory Server (81)
It won’t link up to my contacts list automatically, I have to manually
connect.
The email does work, I am just concerned about the messages that come up and
don’t understand what it is trying to tell me.

Need Help also!

Having same issues:

Upon executing Outlook, "Microsoft LDAP Directory" window pops & lists
-Server name: NULL
-Port: 3268
-User name: NULL
When I click on OK, it disappears and Outlook opens.

Inside Outlook, "Microsoft Office Outlook" window pops: "There was a
problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders may not
appear. Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment." (It
doesn't matter if you go into your Mail, Contacts, or Calendar.) Click OK to
close the window & a popup from the Outlook icon on the Task bar displays
"Microsoft Office Outlook The operation failed."

From within Contacts I also get a "Microsoft LDAP Directory" window: "Can't
contact LDAP Directory server (81).

These popups only seem to occur once each upon opening Outlook.
