Sounds like the sender's message might not have included their email address
correctly. A look at the incoming message headers might be enlightening.

It seems that the emails from the users using other than outlook are not displaying the email address in the header. This I had checked with in the organisation, one user is using EUDORA and his email address is not appearing in header.. is there any fix for this

It's impossible to even know what the problem is without seeing the incoming
message header.

The sender is responsible for the content of the sender headers. It is up
to them to fix the problem.

I have been having the same problem intermittently with several of my users.

It seems that when they go to reply to an email they just get the persons name and no email address.

I have checked the emails that they are repying to and these inbound emails always have the full and correct email address. I had been running outlook 2003 with Exchange 2000 and never had this problem until we migrated to exchange 2003.
This happens very intermittently.
