Display senders actual address in Outlook

Ok, if I understand correctly, all versions of Outlook cannot display
the actual email address of the sender in a column. It only displays
the name of the sender. If, in fact, this is true that Outlook cannot
aquire the actual adress, could somebody please explain the following
to me:

In Outlook 2003,

Add someone to the Blocked Senders List by right clicking the email,
going to "Junk Email", and clicking "Add sender to Blocked Senders
List".

Then go to the "Junk Email" folder, right-click the email, go to "Junk
email" and click "Mark as Not Junk"

A dialoge box pops up with the email address of the sender RIGHT THERE.
The address is right there! Obviously Outlook CAN find the email
address of the sender. Why can't it display it in a column??

That's not quite right. It displays whatever the sender specifies for the
sender mail agent's equivalent of the "Your Name" account property. If they
specify nothing, the Outlook probably shows the sender's mail address.

to me:

Of course Outlook has access to the sender's address. This is a requirement
of all mail systems.

Because Outlook was written display the personal name of the sender in that
field when such a name has been specified by the sender.
