Repeated prompted for authentication when publish to FTP

I receive repeated prompts for authentication when I
publish to FTP site. I tried workaround in Microsoft
Knowledge Base 820933. No luck. Smart FTP access and
uploads to FTP site with no problems. Any suggestions are
appreciated.
