Repeated printing

There is an HP printer that would print the first page over and over,
continuously without stop. The job would be in the print queue, but it was
stay in Printing status and wouldn't finish unless the job was deleted.

I believe the problem was the HP print driver [from the list of drivers in
Windows], so I tested the printer using a Generic/Text Only driver, and it
still had the same issue.

The only thing I haven't tried is downloading the driver from the HP
website, but would the problem most likely be with the driver?

Try the printer on another system. I suspect the printer itself.

The problem was, the printer works on another computer. It just won't work
on this one specific computer. I'm not sure if it's hardware, or if it's the
driver in the PC, etc. Still trying to figure this out. The only thing I
haven't tried yet was downloading the driver from HP.

If it did OK on another system, it's possibly the driver. Try a
complete removal of the printer from Control Panel's Printers and Faxes
applet, then reinstall.
